Do you struggle to get the balance right in your G&T between the gin and tonic? Perhaps the flavour of the gin gets lost in the tonic, or the gin overpowers the whole drink? Whichever problem you face, we’re here to solve it with our perfect G&T recipe!
Ingredients:
– 50ml gin
– 175ml tonic water
– Ice cubes
– A slice of lemon or lime (optional)
Method:
- Fill a glass with ice cubes.
- Add gin to your preferred tonic water. Stir gently to combine.
The key to getting the balance right is simple – use 50ml of gin for every 175ml of tonic. This ratio will ensure that the flavour of the gin comes through, without being overwhelmed by the tonic. Remember that if you’re using Navy Strength Gin, like ours (which is 57% ABV), you’ll need to reduce the gin quantity accordingly!
