Which Rum for Daiquiri?

Are you planning on making some Daiquiris? What you need is some good quality rum to give your cocktail an amazing flavour, and whilst many use white rum for daiquiris, the truth is that dark rum tastes great in a huge number of cocktails, including daiquiris! Here’s a dark rum Daiquiri recipe for you:

Ingredients:

– 60ml dark rum (Why not try our Double Dark Rum?)

– 20ml fresh lime juice

– 20ml simple syrup (don’t forget that you can make this yourself by carefully and gently heating a small amount of water into which you dissolve the same amount of sugar!)

– 1 cup of ice cubes

Directions:

1) Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

2) Pour into a glass and enjoy your extra special, Dark Rum Daiquiri!
